In addition to offering membership, we would like to encourage individuals and organisations to support us through a range of other opportunities such as sponsorship, donations, and legacies.

Any funds that are surplus to the running of our organisation are invested back into the community to benefit those living and working in the area.

We do not have shareholders, and our assets are  ‘locked-in’ for the benefit of the community in perpetuity.

Sponsorship

We are developing a range of sponsorship opportunities  for example, supporting young entrepreneurs wanting to set up a business at the workspaces at the old Cottage Hospital.

Donations

One-off donations will enable us to support more activities in the community – for example by supporting young entrepreneurs, and providing one-off grants to a range of local organisations through a Community Fund.

The donation of land or property to our Development Trust to be used solely for the benefit of the community, in perpetuity, is another way that we can provide lasting benefits in and around Ledbury.

Legacies

You may feel that you would like to consider leaving a legacy in your Will that the Development Trust could manage – in perpetuity – for the benefit of the local community.  This could be a fixed amount, gifts of shares or property, or a residuary or reversionary bequest.
