Success stories of our former tenants

Lisa Marshall moved to her own premises just across the road to Marshall Hair and Beauty.

She now has 2 treatment rooms and employs another member of staff. Another success story where a business had prospered and growth creating additional employment; and this embeds the Trusts aim for helping new local business and creating employment.

Juice Jewellery
Jules moved on to run a highly popular jewellery shop in the High Street for many years. Much to many people’s regret she closed this in August 2017  because of the economic climate. She is still operating on line

Steve Potter

A former tenant  of Studio 7 Steve Potter’s story:

Absolute Automation Limited in 2013 moved from a small Studio at OCHS to new premises on the Silver Birches Business Park, Bromsgrove, as part of their ongoing expansion plans. The 2800sq ft unit comprises 800 sq ft of office and meeting room space, which along with 2000 sq ft of warehouse space means that we are well placed to design and build control systems of all sizes.

Absolute Automation has continued to grow and more recently made the successful acquisition of CMC Controls.

Holly Houghton

Holly Houghton was a new business enterpreneur who established her business at the Old Cottage Hospital Studios.

Holly was our first “totally new business” tenant. Holly established a sports massage business from scratch at OCHS.

She was supported by LADT new bursary, which enabled Holly to set up to business and establish a sustainable income stream before full rent fell due.

Holly has now moved on from the Studios following her great success

Another Studio 7 success

In Studio 7 Sue Lamerton and Christine Anderson – Inphysics provided invaluable services in the area for those suffering with mental health issues.

In 2017 Sue decided to retired and her colleague Christine moved out of the area, but we are delighted to announce that one of their colleague Susan Mayaki has recently set herself up on a self employed basis and is based in Studio 7.

Caroline Potter Photography

Caroline a professional photographer  moved to new premises and took on another member of staff and is still doing well with her creative Portraiture of Babies, Children and Families.
